Accurate IT Services is recognized by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO). Accurate IT Services is currently working towards our ISO certification and we’re passionate about hazardous tech waste not ending up in a landfill. We believe the best recycling method is to reuse by redistributing all products we can salvage. We test all equipment for correct functionality and employ our best efforts to repair usable electronics; if we cannot then the equipment gets recycled. Virtually every component in computer equipment can be broken down and recycled. We demanufacture unusable e-waste into its base components - glass, steel, copper wire, aluminum, circuit boards, plastics, batteries and other categories. Separated scrap material is passed onto a handful of EPA recognized downstream vendors to recycle the separated scrap materials.
