Electronics Recycling

Accurate IT Services is recognized for our ITAD practices by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), and The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO). We are also ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and R2 certified, providing our customers with the assurance that our facility is dedicated to continual environmental improvement and the guarantee that their electronic equipment will be disposed of responsibly.

We believe the best recycling method is to reuse by redistributing all products we can salvage. We test all equipment for correct functionality and employ our best efforts to repair usable electronics.

If equipment cannot be reused, it is recycled. Virtually every component in computer equipment can be broken down and recycled. We de-manufacture unusable e-waste into its base components – glass, steel, copper wire, aluminum, circuit boards, plastics, batteries and other categories. Separated scrap material is then passed onto appropriate downstream vendors to recycle the separated scrap materials. All downstream vendors are scrutinized to ensure applicable permits, licenses, and certifications associated with recycling.
