Spring is over and many have finally completed that dreaded task of cleaning their basement, garage, or old storage closet. In Central Ohio, many residents found that their collection of e-waste had grown to two sizes too big. So, those residents took advantage of the many Community Electronics Recycling Events offered by Accurate IT Services across the Ohio area and chose to recycle their e-waste responsibly with a locally-owned and R2 Certified electronics recycler.
Based on Accurate IT Services’ Environmental Management Program dedicated to Community Recycling Events, in the Spring months of 2012 alone, the Ohio region recycled 165,372 lbs. (83 tons) with Accurate IT in just 12 events! These 83 tons of e-waste was diverted from Ohio landfills and recycled responsibly, keeping Ohio beautiful.
